Technically, fire station should be a rigorous and practical building. However, in this studio, we were asked to work in a totally different workflow: in an experimental way - from form to function.

We all began with three simple cubes and gradually twisted, distorted and manipulated their shape and then combined them together to be groups. Jumping out of the traditional design workflow brought us unexpected consequences. 

This studio gave me a total different design method and style, which has inspired me a lot  when I go on with other design projects in the future.
